Increase threshold to report movements of goods with other EU member states
Slovenia has raised the annual reporting thresholds for Intrastat arrivals and dispatches. This covers the movement into and out of Slovenia to other EU countries. The thresholds will change from 2022 as follows
- Arrivals – raised from €120,000 to €1 million per annum
- Dispatches – raised from €200,000 to €1 million per annum

Food sectors allocated lower thresholds
However, for certain agricultural and food sectors, there will be a lower threshold. These sectors are:
- 01 Cultivation of crops and animal husbandry, hunting and related services,
- 02 Forestry and logging,
- 03 Fishing and aquaculture,
- 10 Food production,
- 11 Production of beverages,
- 12 Production of tobacco products.
The threshold for these sectors is:
- Arrivals –€200,000 per annum
- Dispatches –€400,000 per annum
Intrastat in the (mostly) monthly reporting requirement for larger shippers of goods between EU member states. It was introduced in 1993 with the Single Market and the withdrawal of customs borders and tracking for intra-EU trade.
